Abstract

This article describes a study of trends in the development of renewable energy (RES) as a full-fledged branch of the economy. It also discusses several solutions to the climate crisis that is present in the world today, presents the results of a study of several countries on the introduction and operation of renewable energy as a source of electricity, and identifies the most promising directions for the development of renewable energy sources for the Russian economy.
