Возможности цифровой трансформации для повышения эффективности использования активов в промышленности

The digital transformation of industrial enterprises opens up new business opportunities. In the XXI century, digital technologies and their associated effects are considered by managers at different levels as the main driver of growth of key performance indicators (KPIs) of organizations. The efficiency of using assets in industry is an important indicator that characterizes the economic activity of the enterprise. What opportunities does digital transformation offer for improving the efficiency of asset use in industry? This article examines the possibilities of the phenomenon of sharing economy for answering the formulated research question. Based on theoretical research and aggregated macroeconomic statistical indicators that characterize the digital economy of the Russian Federation and the level of capacity utilization, the article proposes a new index that can assess the potential for the development of asset sharing in the Russian Federation.
